I knew motherhood would be tough, but I had no idea!

The first two years of motherhood were a hot mess! Moving to the Swedish countryside as a new immigrant, with little postpartum support and knowledge, broke me on every level— physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But I lived to tell the tale and so will you!

Know that you’re not alone if you’re overwhelmed by unsolicited advice and exhausted from sleepless nights. So many new mothers are scrambling for answers while in the thick of it. My Shameless Struggle into Motherhood is the book I wish I had while on the struggle bus! It takes the guesswork out of endless online searches, helping you overcome the hurdles so you can be fully present with your little one.

Empowering women is my passion, and now, as a certified postpartum doula, supporting them on their journey into motherhood is my honour.

What Readers Are Sarying

"I had the pleasure of reading your book and I really enjoyed it. I am not a mother (yet) but I still found the book to be extremely useful. It is definitely a resource guide for anyone who is searching for answers or shared experiences."

- Dawana

"Parenthood and life come with challenges, some that are natural for us and others imposed by society’s expectations. Your book helps myself and others see the difference between these two and have the courage to choose which ones we want to embrace. That part where you talk about the importance to invest time in rebuilding love is honest, because it doesn’t just happen on it’s own alongside parenthood. Reading this book confirms what we need within us. If we do it together, ask for help and gain different perspectives, the result can be something entirely different from what we expected, if we dare to let go."

- Karolin

"I first started reading your book after a really tough week. For almost a year I was the one putting our baby to sleep at night by breastfeeding and I was desperate to find another way. I was exhausted…we had tried different things but it ended up with me feeling devastated when he kept crying and I’d give him the breast. At the same time I was so disappointed with myself and most of all feeling so alone. I started reading the book and went straight to the chapter about sleep. It was as if someone gave me a hug! It truly gave me the realization that I’m not alone. But also the importance of following your gut! We followed your example and focused on implementing a consistent bed time routine for our baby while also being flexible depending on our current state. Now it’s a totally different situation where breastfeeding is associated with warmth rather than pressure. I’m truly grateful for this book and so excited to explore the rest of it."
